Real Time Embedded Systems
For signal processing systems and real time data acquisition, the Othello™ line of VME carriers integrates high performance interconnects such as Serial FPDP or fibre channel, Analog-to-Digital converters, and a variety of I/O with large, specialized on-board memory buffers.  Combined with application optimized architectures, Othello carriers have optional connectivity to cutting edge switch fabrics such as Serial RapidIO®, RACE++, and StarFabric.  Integrated solutions are utilized in sub-systems for surveillance and reconnaissance, semiconductor, medical and seismic imaging.

Othello products based on the unique CoSine™ System-on-Chip provide FPGA processing capabilities for fixed-point operations such as FFT’s, FIR filters, and a range of application specific state machines.  Highly integrated and preconfigured, CoSine brings optimized bridging capabilities to embedded signal processing infrastructure while reducing data movement for conventional DSP’s.

Network Storage
The demanding performance and reliability requirements of leading Network Storage OEM’s are addressed with the Umem™ line of PCI NVRAM cards.  Targeting NAS filers, storage controllers, and various SAN IP management appliances, Umem cards offset disk accesses for I/O intensive applications such as filesystem journaling and write-caching.  Application specific logic and proprietary data retention capabilities have made Umem cards the industry’s gold label standard for over a decade.  Combined with optimized device drivers and specialized software such as WaSAKi™, Umem cards dramatically increase system performance while maintaining compliance with industry standard benchmarks.

For clustered network storage appliances, Micro Memory’s novel “after-the-fact” failover technology can be leveraged to create scalable, highly available solutions to meet the requirements of carrier-class enterprise data centers.
