Description

The MM-6492 is a B-type daughtercard memory module with 32 bit wide dual RACEway ports. It plugs directly into Mercury's MCH6 and MCH9 motherboards. The full 1GB configuration fits onto the motherboards while staying within the VME single slot specifications.

The MM-6492 has two independent RACEway ports accessible from on/off board processors with combined burst transfers of up to 320 MB/sec.

This high density module can provide up to 4GB on the MCH9 with combined transfer rates of up to 1,280 MB/sec and there is no need for an external customized bus.

The MM-6492 is field upgradeable from 512MB to 1GB, by installing the MM-64921, a secondary mezzanine card.

Reliability is ensured by burn-in and running memory diagnostics that check operation for 48 hours while temperature cycling boards from 0-70°C. Also, reliability is backed up by Micro Memory, LLC's Lifetime Warranty.
