Description

The MM-6493D is a high speed, dual RACEway memory buffer that provides up to 512MB of DRAM with ECC on a Type A daughtercard.

The card has two RACEway ports, each with an individual memory bank with up to 256MB of DRAM. Each memory bank can be accessed simultaneously, but only through its dedicated RACEway port.

The card plugs directly into Mercury’s MCV6 and MCV9 carrier cards. The 512 MB configuration of the MM6493D fits onto the carriers while staying within the VME single slot specification.

The two independent RACEway ports are accessible from on/off board processors. Each port provides transfer rates of up to 160MB/s providing an aggregate bandwidth of up to 320MB/s.

Reliability is ensured by burn-in and running memory diagnostics that check operations for 48 hours while temperature-cycling boards from 0° to 70°C. Quality is guaranteed by Micro Memory, LLC's Lifetime Warranty.
