Description

The MM-6702C is a high-speed, high-density, static CMOS non- volatile memory module occupying a single card slot. It uses 128KB low power CMOS memory devices or 512KB DIP modules, providing great flexibility to mix CMOS static RAM with EPROMs.

The MM-6702C is completely compatible with VMEbus specification Rev. C1 with block transfer (BLT) or 256 bytes each burst and unaligned data transfers (UAT). A write-protect switch disables write operation for selected portions of the RAM that serve as read-only memory.

On-board lithium or NiCad batteries provide data retention in case of a power loss. On-board LEDs and a control status register (CSR) indicate battery status.

Reliability is ensured by burn-in and running memory diagnostics that check operation for 48 hours while temperature-cycling boards between 0 and 60°C.
