 VME Carriers for FPGA Processing

CoSine-on-Othello combines the industry’s most powerful System-
on-Chip for FPGA processing with the application optimized
architectures of Othello VME carriers for switch fabrics.

Based on Xilinx’s largest V-4 LX and V-4 SX FPGAs, the MM-71xx series of compute node mezzanines provide the most FPGA processing resources ever offered on the PMC form factor.

 VME Carriers

Othello carriers include two high speed mezzanine sites and
optional connectivity to backplane switch fabrics such as StarFabric,
RACE++, and Serial RapidIO. Preconfigured models include
versions with Serial FPDP, fibre channel, and multi-channel A/D
converters.

Anvil is a solid state, front-end data acquisition system for
acquiring real time sensor signals. With four PCI slots, up to
64GB of industry standard SODIMM SDRAM memory, and an embedded hardware architecture, Anvil is an ideal front-end
solution for snapshot and real time data recording.
